Tornata dall’Australia, dove ha vissuto per quindici anni, per realizzare un documentario sulla Costa Smeralda, il luogo che l’ha vista bambina, Lisa Camillo, viaggiando per la Sardegna ha scoperto alcuni luoghi al sud diventati terra di conquista: interessi economici e servitù militari hanno letteralmente sconvolto una delle regioni più belle d’Italia.
Poligoni sperimentali, industrie chimiche, un tessuto economico sofferente. Penisole interdette, spiagge martoriate dalle bombe, missili adagiati sul fondo marino. Storie sussurrate di feti deformi, tumori, leucemie, capi di bestiame dalle fattezze mostruose.
